Eco Schools
As an Eco-School, we are committed to teaching our pupils to take care of the world we live in, both at school and at home. Our garden areas promote wildlife, and we help to take care of the birds and animals that visit, as well as the plants that grow.
We are proud to share that our school has achieved the Green Flag in the past for our efforts in environmental education and sustainability. We are currently working on renewing our Green Flag Status.
If you would like to get involved in our eco-activities with your child, please speak to Hilary. Many of our school activities link to the Eco-Schools topics, including:
- Forest Schools Programme: Enhancing our outdoor learning experiences.
- Healthy Living and Wellbeing: Part of our Getting Ready to Learn - Healthy Happy Kids programme.
- Biodiversity: Learning through the Big Schools Bird Watch and bug hunts.
- Responsible Waste Management: Teaching pupils to recycle and be mindful of water and electricity usage.
We appreciate your support in helping our pupils become environmentally conscious.
